Devon House shoot

I dont have many photos of an architectural nature in my portfolio. So to remedy this, early Sunday morning I visited one of Jamaica's landmark mansions, George Steibel's Devon House. I left a little under an hour later feeling like I had wasted my time. An uninspiring shoot to say the least. It wasnt until I was going through the pictures being very idle that I realized how well black and white worked on most of the shots I had. Lesson of the day: black and white and old wooden houses work very well together. Shoot done July 2, 2006
